Last Monday I received a concerned phone call (followed by an email with a picture attachment) from one of our wonderful clients, Lisa Willoughby. She and her coworkers had found two abandoned, stray kittens outside of their workplace and graciously decided to take care of them. After bringing them to work with her for nearly a week, these two kittens became accustom to human contact and stopped hissing and scratching out of fear whenever someone came close or tried to hold them.
Yesterday, Lisa brought the kittens in for an exam and, of course, I had my camera out and ready to snap pictures of them. I didn’t take as many as I’d like since the sound from the shutter had them a bit frightened. They were so cute, so tiny and sweet. Their exams went very well and we were able to identify them as sisters. Lisa also told us that she had already found some good homes for them! :)
What a great example of human compassion.. Thank you so much, Lisa! We’re proud to have you as our client.
